Paul Cameron is the pioneering Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Treehouse Life - a globally respected design-and-build studio specialising in bespoke treehouses, rope bridges, treetop walkways, and experiential adventure structures for ultra-high-net-worth families, private estates, luxury resorts, and leading visitor-attraction groups worldwide.
Under his leadership, Treehouse Life has become a category-defining brand in luxury experiential design and sustainable outdoor architecture, recognised for rare mastery at the intersection of nature, structural engineering, craftsmanship, and imagination. The company’s work is trusted by exceptional private clients and global partners alike, including projects for Elton John, Gary Barlow, and major international resort and adventure park operators.
Paul’s approach to leadership and entrepreneurship is deeply personal, values-led, and relationship-driven. He is known for what he calls a “breakfast-table” philosophy - building long-term partnerships rooted in trust, shared vision, and mutual respect. For Paul, every project extends beyond physical construction. It is about creating meaningful environments where families and communities can reconnect with wonder, creativity, and the freedom to “pretend” again - spaces that invite people to feel inspired, engaged, and fully alive.
Creativity has always been central to Paul’s life and leadership. After studying performance at the Royal College of Music in London, he built an internationally respected career as a professional musician, musical director, producer, and artistic consultant. Over more than two decades, he held senior creative roles at the Royal National Theatre, Shakespeare’s Globe, and in the West End. His work spans theatre, film, recording, and publishing, including performance on the Oscar-winning soundtrack for Shakespeare in Love, collaboration with Warner Classics on a top-five classical-crossover album, and the publication of a successful book series with Faber.
Throughout his musical career, Paul worked alongside and was directed by some of the most influential figures in the arts, including Michael Gambon, Mark Rylance, Ian McKellen, Peter Hall, Trevor Nunn, Claudio Abbado, and Mstislav Rostropovich. He also created film music for George Lucas and served as Artistic Consultant to the Rhythm Sticks programme at the South Bank Centre. These experiences shaped his lifelong commitment to preparation, precision, leadership, and world-class professional standards.
With a strong natural affinity for business and entrepreneurship, Paul’s transition from the arts to construction and experiential design was both intuitive and purposeful. He founded Treehouse Life to unite engineering, architecture, storytelling, sustainability, and emotional experience into a single globally respected platform.
Today, Paul leads Treehouse Life with a clear long-term vision: to build structures and relationships that endure, to operate with integrity in every detail, and to create work that will be studied, trusted, and valued for generations. His leadership blends artistic sensitivity with commercial rigour, positioning the company as a world-class, founder-led business delivering rare, meaningful, and enduring experiences across the globe.
