01 Concept

We once stood on a construction site in Qatar, watching rope bridge components being lifted into position for what would become part of the world's largest water park - and three weeks later we were on the Hawaiian island of Kauai, installing four rope bridges through tropical canopy for an exclusive luxury golf resort land development. That is the rhythm of what we do. Treehouse Life operates globally - we have designed and delivered bespoke treehouses, rope bridges, treetop walkways and adventure installations across four continents. Our projects range from the commercial scale of Qatari water parks to intimate resort experiences like the spa installation we built for Zil Pasyon's luxury resort in the Seychelles. On Oahu, we designed and built an adventure play area spanning a gorge for Marriott Signature Hotels - the kind of project where engineering precision and child-like wonder have to exist in the same breath. Our international project delivery covers everything from initial site assessment and structural engineering through to final installation, regardless of location. We work with local contractors and suppliers where it makes sense, but our own team travels to every site because the details that make a structure feel alive - the way a platform meets the canopy, the angle at which a bridge catches the wind - those things cannot be managed from a distance.

Perhaps the real question behind "where do you build?" is actually something quieter - something closer to "can you build what I am imagining, even here?" And the honest answer is that geography has never been our limitation. A rope bridge above a Hawaiian gorge and a spa walkway through Seychelles jungle share almost nothing in common structurally, but they share everything that matters: someone, somewhere, decided that the ordinary way of experiencing a landscape was not enough. That the child-like impulse to climb, to explore, to see the world from a different angle, was worth taking seriously. We have found that the clients who reach out from the most unexpected corners of the world are often the ones with the clearest vision - whether that is a resort developer in the Indian Ocean or a water park operator in the Middle East, they already know what they want people to feel. They just need someone who knows how to build it. If that sounds like the beginning of a conversation you have been putting off, we would be glad to hear where you are and what you are dreaming about

02 Design

…if you are exploring a treehouse or adventure project anywhere in the world, our international reach means distance is never a barrier to working together. We manage the full process from design through to installation, including navigating local building regulations and sourcing materials appropriate to the climate and conditions of your specific site — from tropical humidity in the Seychelles to the volcanic terrain of Hawaii. What tends to surprise people is how straightforward the logistics become once the conversation starts - we have shipped materials across oceans and assembled structures in places with no road access, and the process is far less daunting than most clients expect.

If you have land, a vision and the willingness to explore what is possible, the first step is simply a conversation about the site and what draws you to it. We can work from photographs, drone footage or satellite imagery in the early stages, and we will always visit before committing to a design. The geography is yours to choose — the rest is ours to figure out.

03 Pre-Build

...you are looking for a flat-pack, self-assembly treehouse kit or a catalogue product you can order online and install yourself. That is a perfectly valid approach to getting a treehouse built, but it is not what we do. We design and build fully bespoke structures - every project is unique to its site and its client - and that means we are not the right fit for anyone seeking a standardised, off-the-shelf solution. For kit-based treehouses, companies specialising in modular treehouse systems or garden building suppliers would serve you far better and far more affordably.

Equally, if your project is purely a ground-level play structure or a conventional timber-frame garden building with no elevated or arboreal element, there are excellent specialist builders in those fields who would be a more natural fit. Our world is the canopy - the space between earth and sky where something unexpected happens. If your project lives up there, wherever "there" happens to be on the map, then we should talk.
